Alumni Events
St Paul's High School hosts annually a number of alumni events, reunions and sport tournaments. These events owe their success to the active and generous alumni and others who volunteer and participate. The Alumni Association Executive is an active part of the planning and organizing of many of these events.
For more detailed information on an event by event basis, including event dates, registration information and additional photo galleries of past events, alumni can register to become a part of the St Paul's Online Community.
The following is a list of the major events for alumni in the order that they occur in the school year.
All-Class Reunion (Homecoming Weekend, September 26th, 2009)
Each year, in conjunction with Homecoming, St Paul's hosts the annual All-Class Reunion. The next All-Class Reunion, the 3rd annual, will take place on the Saturday evening of Homecoming on September 26th,2009.
All-Class Reunion is an opportunity for all alumni to gather with classmates, former and current teachers, Jesuits and administrators. At each of the first two reunions, members of every generation of St Paul's alumni have joined the celebration.
Last year, Ernie Ostermann '57, the Old Schoolmaster, who taught at St Paul's from 1966-2001, accepted the honour of serving as our 2008 All-Class Reunion Honourary Host. After receiving the honourary maroon jacket, he brought words of wisdom and welcome to all in attendance.
A special thank you to the sponsors and suppliers the 2nd annual All-Class Reunion:
- Independent Fish (raw oyster bar) - Michael '58 and Michael Dennehy '86
- Fort Garry Brewing (beer selection) - Joseph Constant '71
- DeLucas (deli sandwiches) - Tony Deluca and Family
- Big White Ski Resort, Kelowna (One week of skiing. Door prize won by Martin Lussier '03) - Mike Ballingall '78

15th Annual Ignatian Challenge Award Tribute Dinner (Tuesday, November 3rd)
This is a major fundraising and community building event for the school. Past and current parents, alumni and friends of the school are invited to attend. Imagine what it would be like to bring together an all-star cast of alumni back to the stage in Murray Hall. Could long-since retired St Paul's players once again conjure up a little dramatic magic? Who would direct? What about a set? Would anybody come even if they could pull it off?
In May 2007, the Alumni members of the St Paul's Drama Society produced an evening of one-act plays that greatly enhanced the Alumni Play tradition. For alumni looking for a great way to get involved in the school, to rub elbows and share the stage with alumni and faculty from years past, you will not want to miss out when the next alumni production is announced.

Alumni Golf Tournament (Thursday, June 18th 2009)
After two excellent years at the Carman Golf Club, with thanks to Mike Gottfred '78 and his staff, the tournament returns to Winnipeg. This year’s tournament on the 18th of June 2009 will be hosted by the Breezy Bend Country Club.
We will sell out this year’s event and so this opportunity to register and your early response will ensure your place in June.
The cost of the event is $125, which this year includes: lunch, green fees, golf cart, dinner and fabulous St Paul’s prizes for every player.
Alumni from every decade, from the 1940s through to recent graduates, will be playing in this event. Members of the Class of 1984 will begin the celebration of their 25th anniversary reunion at the golf tournament followed by a class dinner on Friday night at the school.
Linked below is the registration form that permits you to enter as an individual player or as a member of a foursome. Even if you are not able to get a foursome together we really hope you will be able to join us.
We hope to see you there!

25th Anniversary Reunion
Each year, with the generous volunteer efforts of members of each class, St Paul's organizes a 25th Anniversary Reunion. The event is perennially well-attended by alumni and faculty alike. Each year the event takes on a slightly different character based on the input of the organizing committee of volunteers, but it always begins with the opportunity to participate in the Annual Alumni Golf Tournament. This golf tournament is followed the next day by an informal, formal dinner for alumni and faculty.
Attention Members of the Class of 1984: Mark your calendars for your reunion on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 18-19 2009, and then join the St Paul's Online Community today to keep up with the planning for your reunion!
