MHSAA Provincial Track Championships
Highlights of Day 2
Robbie Gerstner jumped a 50cm personal best to win the gold medal in the Varsity Long Jump with a jump of 6.72 meters. Robbie was one of the last to qualify the day before just squeaking in as the second last qualifier.
Grade nine speed sensation Grant White shocked the running world with a thrilling Gold medal in the Junior Varsity 100m. Running into a hot and strong headwind, Grant won the title by 3 one thousands of a second... you read that correctly!
Michael Uzonna had qualifed 1st overall for the JV final. Unfortunately he went down 30m into the final with a major muscle injury. We pray for Michael as he goes into the healing and rehab process.
Gold in Junior Varsity 4 X400m
The team of Alex Sala, JP Garcia, Grant White, and Avery Stubbings ran an incredible race to win by 5 seconds. This was Grant White's 2nd gold medal of the day and his 5th race of the day.
Day 1 Highlights
Silver in Junior Boys Medley Relay.
Highlight of day one was the Junior Varsity team of Alex Sala, Sebastian Las, Trae Tomlinson, and Avery Stubbings who won the Silver medal in the Medley relay.

Triple Jump - Marcus Bazan qualified 5th overall for the final.
200m - Grant White and Sebastian Las qualifed for the final
400m and 800m - Avery Stubbings qualified for the final.
4X 100m - Team of Sebastian Las, Jp Garcia, Jason Uzonna, and Grant White qualified for the final.
Triple Jump - Robbie Gerstner qualified for final.
