Shane Dillon had an incredible meet winning 4 events (800, 1500, 3000, and medley relay) to lead the Crusaders to the WWAC track title.
His teammate James Teschuk also added big points by winning the 400m, 4X100m relay, and the medley relay. He also place 2nd in the 200m and 4th in the 100m.
The JV Crusaders had some other great performances. Aaron Noyes won the shot put with a monster throw of 14.30 which is the top throw in the province this year. Grade nine Regan Roche placed 3rd while Jacob Stevens placed 4th.
In the 100m, grade nine speedster Trevor Wright placed 3rd and 10 minutes later placed 3rd in the high jump. He also ran on the winning 4X100m and medley teams with Stefan Hreno.
Christian Johnston placed 2nd in the multi -event and Cole Zadro placed 2nd in the discus.
In the 1500m and 3000m the Crusaders swept the medals with Dillon, Graham Lock and Will Koltek taking the honors.
Now the Crusaders get ready for the Provincial Championships to be held June 7-9.
