Congratulations to the Crusader Junior Varsity Cross Country team who capped off a perfect season today by winning the MHSAA Provincial Championship at Spruce Woods Provincial Park. This is the 11th title in 12 years for the Jv team.

Despite not having the overall WWAC champion Will Koltek on their team (moved up to varsity) the young Cru team(4 grade nine's) ran a perfectly paced race on the very hilly course.

Grade 10 runner Simon Meier led the Crusaders with a great effort placing 6th overall out of close to 300 runners. Not far behind him was grade nine speedster Bryce Stubbings who place 7th overall and top grade nine finisher. Max Piche (9), Mackenzie Borys (9) and Ryan McDonald (9) rounded out the top five for the Crusaders.

The Crusader had a team score of 45, ahead of 2nd place Dakota Lancers at 53.

Congrats to all 20 Jv Cru runners who represented the school with heart and class today.
