The final event of the Provincial track and field championship was the 4 X 100m relays. The claim to Manitoba's fastest school was up for grabs.

In the Junior Varsity, the team of Nic Peters, Jack Taylor, Luc Deleau, and Matt Indome (3 grade 9's) ran with the best in the province claiming the Silver medal 2/100's out of the gold medal. Indome brought the team from 5th to narrowly winning gold in the last 100m.

The very last event was the Varsity 4 X 100m. The team of Trevor Wright, Stefan Hreno, Cody Cranston and James Teschuk were ranked 13th going in. With strong running all around and great hand offs, James Teschuk was able to hold off all teams and claim the Gold medal for the Cru.

Special thanks goes out to Mark Proven, who helped the Crusader qualify in the zone meet by filling in at the last second, and to Scott Morrison who ran in the qualifying rounds.

Congrats to all who competed this weekend.
