El Salvador Service Trip…The Sequel

St. Paul’s High School invites all interested Grade 10 & 11 students to an El Salvador Service Trip Informational Meeting. The trip is scheduled for July 2011.

The trip is, once again, being organized by the school. However, Mr. Dennis Kuzenko, a veteran teacher of Grant Park and member of the St Alphonsus parish, who has been working with the Loma Linda community since 2002 and will be a major contributor to the success of our second project.  Members of the St Paul’s High School adult team have not yet been solidified, but Mr. Watson will be the contact person for this upcoming project.

The main goals of the Loma Linda Project are:

  • to experience life among the poor in a developing country.
  • to interact with groups and individuals working and living in a developing country.
  • to assist in a construction project chosen by the community.
  • to be open to what the people and the experience can teach us.

The Informational Meeting will take place in the Aulneau Room at St. Paul’s High School on Tuesday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. All students are asked to bring at least one parent/guardian to the meeting.

If you plan to attend the meeting, please email me back at mwatson@stpauls.mb.ca
