The St. Paul's Maroon team travelled on Tuesday May 8th to Sisler to take on a tough, determined and physical Sisler team. The Crusader forward pack led the way with great rucking and set play, denying Sisler access to the ball for much of the game. Inspired performances by Quinn Horton and Claurence DIaz led the Crusaders to overcome some challenges posed by Sisler's small field. The Crusaders came out on top 36-0.
The St. Paul's White team stayed at home to host Springfield Collegiate in what appeared at first to be a close match. The Crusaders would come out in the second half to put on a scoring clinic led by runs by Paul Soubry Jr. and Samson Abbott. The Crusader backs were limited in their access to the ball but made it count when given a chance as they used quick ball movement to find the outside of the Springfield defense for several scores and valuable confidence. St. Paul's finished the game with 50 points to Springfield's 12.
Congratulations to the players and the coaches as the Cru continue to improve their play.
