NewsAlumnus' Book Helps Med-Students Survive Residency

St Paul’s High School congratulates Dr Allan D Peterkin ’76 for the recent publication of the fifth edition of his popular resource book “Staying Human During Residency, How to Survive and Thrive After Medical School.” The book, published through the University of Toronto, continues to receive positive reviews as a very informative and useful guide for medical students to make the most of their years of training and assisting them in successfully launching their careers after university.

Dr Peterkin is a physician based in the Toronto area, as well as the author of 14 books, including some for children. He is the founding editor of “Ars Medica: a Journal of Medicine, The Arts and Humanities.” Dr Peterkin’s website can be read here.
