NewsCrusaders Battle Rain, Wind, Hills and Mud to Capture Championship

Congratulations to the JV Crusader Cross Country team for winning the MHSAA Provincial Championship. This is the 10th time in 11 years that the JV Crusaders have brought back the Team Banner. The Cru were led by grade nine sensation Will Koltek who blazed the course to finish 7th overall out of 250 runners from around the province. Close behind him was "Sprint Star" James Teschuk in 11th and Graham Lock 15th. Grade nine runner Simon Meier had his best run of the year and Christian Johnston toughed out a great run on a sprained ankle.

The Crusaders Varsity team just missed out on bringing home a second banner as they lost a tight team race of 71 points for Vincent Massey to the Crusaders 82. Despite losing one of their top runners in the race, the Varsity Cru ran like champions. Shiloh Johnson led the Cru with a "stellar" 3rd place overall finish. Evan Pfrimmer was the next finisher in 13th spot. Rounding out the top 5 were Neil Redpath, Ben Borys and Nick Leskiw.

Congratulations to all the runners who represented the school with determination and class.

The Coaching staff is proud of you.
