NewsSt. Paul's High School welcomes back Mr. Mike Watson as Vice-Principal Academics

St. Paul’s High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael Watson as the Vice-Principal Academics, beginning in August 2014.  


Mr. Watson returns to St. Paul’s from Strake Jesuit in Houston where, over the last two years, he served as Summer School Principal, Assistant Dean of Students and teacher. Mr. Watson began teaching at St. Paul’s in the fall of 1998 after teaching for five years elsewhere. Over his time at St. Paul’s he served as a social studies, multimedia and computer skills teacher, Head and Assistant Crusader Football Coach, Crusader Wrestling Coach, Athletic Director and Vice-Principal Students.


Mr. Watson is well known by many in the St. Paul’s community as a highly energetic, committed, hardworking, personable and compassionate servant leader.  He is highly organized and has significant technology skills important to the VPA position. His experience working at another Jesuit school will enrich his contribution to the St. Paul’s mission and vision, to which he also brings a deep faith and commitment. In addition, he has significant experience in administration and skills related to the professional development and mentoring of teachers.


We are also pleased to welcome back his wife Leslie and his two daughters Sarah and Kate to the St. Paul’s community.
