Celebrating the Class of 2025

This week marked a joyful celebration of the Class of 2025 and the culmination of their twelve years of hard work.

Members of the St. Paul’s High School Class of 2025 walked across the stage, received their diplomas, and officially joined a proud network of over 12,000 alumni. Valedictorian Evan Peters ’25 reflected on the past four years and spoke about what it truly means to be a Crusader.

Farewell to Departing Staff

As we look ahead to a new school year, we also take a moment to thank and bid farewell to several valued members of our staff community. Ms. Kim Mathew, who has warmly managed the Crusader Shoppe, will be leaving us at the end of June. Her friendly presence and dependable care have been a gift to students, staff, and families alike. We also thank Ms. Jennifer Polet for her meaningful contributions to the Advancement Office in recent years–her work has supported many important initiatives behind the scenes. We extend our sincere appreciation as well to Madame Madeleine Toutant, whose dedication to the French Department and her students has made a lasting impact. And we say thank you to Ms. Jacquie Jackson, whose commitment to students and many years of loyal service have been deeply appreciated by all who have worked alongside her. Each of these individuals has left their mark on the life of St. Paul’s, and we wish them all the very best in the paths ahead.

A Tribute to Mr. Kevin Booth '78

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Kevin Booth, who concludes his time as President of St. Paul’s High School after eight years in the role–and five decades of connection to the school. Mr. Booth has been a student, teacher, coach, Vice Principal Students, and most recently, the first layperson to serve as President. He has approached every role not simply as a job, but as a vocation–marked by his steady commitment to Catholic, Jesuit education and his deep love for the school’s mission. With wisdom, discernment, and compassion, Mr. Booth has shaped the lives of countless students and colleagues. Above all, he is a teacher at heart, forming others through his example and leadership. His legacy is one of integrity, service, and faithful stewardship. We are profoundly grateful for all he has given and wish him every blessing in the years ahead.

A Summer Prayer

Father, Creator of all, thank You for summer!

Thank you for the warmth of the sun

and the increased daylight.

Thank You for the beauty I see all around me

and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy Your creation.

Thank You for the increased time I have to be with my friends and family,

and for the more casual pace of the summer season.

Draw me closer to You this summer.

Teach me how I can pray

no matter where I am or what I am doing.

Warm my soul with the awareness of Your presence

and light my path with Your Word and Counsel.

As I enjoy Your creation, create in me

a pure heart and a hunger and a thirst for You.

Amen.
