Dear Students, Parents & Guardians:

Manitoba Public Health recently announced that proof of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (within 72 hours of the activity), will be required for children ages 12–17 to participate in indoor and recreational sports.

This order will be in effect at 12:01 a.m. on December 6th, 2021.

To ensure that participation in indoor sports is not interrupted, all students that wish to participate in indoor sports at St. Paul’s are required to complete an online form by Monday, November 29th.

One of the following options must be selected on the form linked below.

  • Option 1: My son will provide proof of immunization, in person, to the Vice-Principal Students.
  • Option 2: My son does not wish to disclose his immunization status and will submit to the testing protocol established by public health.

 COVID-19 Testing Protocols

  • Negative tests need to come from a participating pharmacy as provincial testing sites should only be accessed by symptomatic individuals or those who are required to take a PCR test by public health.
  • Parents/students are responsible for arranging and paying for COVID-19 PCR tests. Students should not miss classes for this purpose.
  • Negative test results are required to be submitted to the Vice-Principal Students in person.
  • A student will not be allowed to participate in indoor sports until a valid test result is provided.
  • It is recommended to get tested on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during each week the sport is in season.
