Weekly Update

While November is recognized as a time of Remembrance for many across Canada, Remembrance is a year-long commitment. There are many opportunities available to anyone wishing to show their appreciation for those who served.

We encourage all community members to pause and reflect at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day in November in remembrance of the women and men who served and sacrificed for all we have today, and to pray for peace and eternal rest for all who lost their lives protecting the freedoms of Canadians.

The Nearly New Shoppe is looking for gently used and cleaned dress shirts, dress code pants, and suits jackets. If your son has outgrown any of these items, we would be happy to use them for our upcoming Nearly New Sale. All the profits are donated to the SPHS Christmas Hamper Program to support those in need in our community. Please drop off the clothing at the front reception at your earliest convenience.
