The 2024 Crusader Cash Raffle – LAST CALL FOR TICKETS!

Thank you for supporting the 2024 Crusader Cash Raffle! Ticket sales in the Crusader Raffle will close on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at midnight, and the draw will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

$20,000 in cash prizes are to be won including:

  • 1st prize - $10,000
  • 2nd prize - $5,000
  • 3rd prize - $2,000
  • 4th prize - $1,000
  • 5th prize - $1,000
  • 6th prize - $1,000

 Students are asked to sell a minimum of $200 of tickets in support of School Programs and the Grad Fund.

A list of the top student sellers can be found on the Rafflebox home page under the “Top Fundraisers” tab. The top 3 student sellers will win:

  • 1st place - $300 gift card
  • 2nd place - $200 gift card
  • 3rd place - $100 gift card

The Annual Cru Shoppe Christmas Sale is happening in the Cru Shoppe on Thursday, November 22nd from 4–8pm. Receive a free Christmas ornament with any purchase greater than $50 and receive a free toiletry case with any purchase greater than $150. Kick off your Christmas shopping with some swag purchased from the St. Paul's Crusader Shoppe!

  • The assembly is compulsory for all students.
  • Sched`ule III is in effect. 
  • Students should report to their core group stations at 8:25 am.

Wednesday, 20 November: Late Start for Students

Schedule IV is in effect. 

Thursday, 21 November: Early Dismissal

Early dismissal for parent-teacher conferences. Schedule II is in effect. 

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences will occur on:
• Thursday, 21 November, 3:30–8:00pm
• Friday, 22 November, 9:30am–3:30pm

The online system for booking conferences will remain open until Wednesday, 20 November at 5:00pm.

 

Friday, 22 November: No School

Parent-teacher conferences. No classes. 

Nearly New Pop-Up Shop    

  • Date: Thursday, 21 November
  • Time: 3:30–7:00 pm
  • Location: Hallway across the Aulneau Room
  • Bring Cash and your reusable bag!

While you’re at the school for parent-teacher conferences, plan to stop by the Nearly New shop and pick up some extra uniform clothing for your student!

We will also have a contest for a Mondetta prize package!

  • All monies raised from the Nearly New sale and contest will support the Christmas Hamper Fund.
  • Plan to stop by and do some shopping while supporting the Hamper fund!

Bake Sale - Tuesday, November 19, 2024

Please Bring Cash - Items are sold at 50 Cents each or three for $1.00 with some of the larger items at $1.00 each.

Please bring baked goods to the front office when dropping off your son and donated items of baked goods will be received by Ms. Brito.

If we can also ask Grade 11 students to bring baking, however, if families wish to donate, baked goods are much appreciated!

Proceeds from the Bake sale go towards the School’s Christmas Hamper Program.

Coordinator Needed        

We are looking for a volunteer to help coordinate:

Christmas Holiday Décor                     November 20 and January 6

  • To be done starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024
  • Must be available to tear down Décor on Monday, January 6, 2025

Parent Guild Executive Member – Upcoming Opening     

 Volunteer Officer

At the end of the year, Gillian Hauser will be stepping down as the current Volunteer Officer. The role is crucial, as our parent volunteers are required at events throughout the year. We are hopeful to fill the role in the new year so that the individual can shadow Gillian and learn the software program.

Exam Week: January 27–31, 2025

Click HERE for the schedule for Semester 1 Exams. As a reminder, students are expected to write exams at the end of each semester as scheduled. Planned absences during exams should be avoided except in cases of emergencies. In such cases, students may be permitted to write exams on alternate dates with administrative approval. Writing exams prior to the first day of scheduled exams will not be accommodated. 

Additional Exams Outside the Regular Schedule

The following exams take place before the standard exam period and are mandatory for students enrolled in the specified courses. Please plan accordingly to ensure your availability on these dates.

  • Provincial English Assessment (Grade 12):

    • Required for all Grade 12 students.
    • Administered over four days: January 7–10, 2025
  • Provincial Applied Mathematics Assessment (Grade 12):

    • Required for Grade 12 students enrolled in Semester 1 Applied Math.
    • Date: Tuesday, January 21, 2025
  • Provincial Pre-Calculus Mathematics Assessment (Grade 12):

    • Required for Grade 12 students enrolled in Semester 1 Pre-Calculus Math.
    • Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025
  • Grade 11 Exams:

    • All Grade 11 students will write a Semester 1 exam in either English or Canadian History.
    • Date: Friday, January 24, 2025
